
A robotic arm that has abilities to detect individual packages from a group of packages. Pick a package from that group and drop it in the Drop-Zone with the shipment barcode present on top when dropped in the Drop-Zone. The system includes a flexible picking arm of 5 DOF with a suction end effector and a flipping mechanism for orientation. It utilizes vision and sensor systems (Xbox KINECT, laser sensors, etc.) connecting to a live PC for input processing.
